Privacy policy.
PLEASE READ FIRST — OUR CURRENT STATUS
Valence Advisory, LLC (“Valence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a development-stage company. We are building a wealth advisory business that we intend to operate with the assistance of artificial intelligence, but we have NOT yet registered as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or any state securities regulator.
We are NOT currently providing investment advice, making recommendations, managing assets, or offering advisory services, and we have no advisory clients. This website is informational only and is intended to describe our planned business and focus.
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security or advisory service, and using the site or contacting us does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or other client relationship. We will update this Policy and provide any additional privacy notices required of registered investment advisers before we begin offering regulated services.
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through our public website and related inquiry and marketing channels (for example, contact forms, a waitlist or newsletter signup, and email). It applies to:
- Visitors who browse our website;
- People who contact us, submit an inquiry, or ask to be kept informed about our launch; and
- Recipients of any updates or marketing communications we send.
Because we are not yet operating as an investment adviser, this Policy does not yet address the handling of client account information, and we do not collect that kind of information at this stage. When our services launch, we will provide the additional notices described in Section 11.
Information we collect
Information you provide to us
We collect the information you choose to give us, which is generally limited to:
Contact & inquiry information
Example: Name, email address, phone number, company or title, and the contents of your message.
Why we collect it: To respond to your inquiry and follow up about your interest.
Waitlist / newsletter signup
Example: Email address and any preferences you provide.
Why we collect it: To send you updates about our launch and offerings, if you opt in.
Communications
Example: Emails, messages, and other correspondence you send us.
Why we collect it: To respond to you and keep a record of our exchange.
Please do not send us sensitive personal or financial information — such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, or financial account numbers — through this website. We do not need it at this stage and ask that you not provide it until we have launched secure, regulated services.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device and browser details (IP address, device type, operating system, browser version);
- Usage information (pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, time spent, and similar interaction data); and
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information from third parties
We may receive limited information from our service providers (such as website-analytics and email/marketing platforms) and, if you reach out to us through a social or professional platform, the contact information you make available there. We do not purchase consumer financial data, pull credit reports, or obtain information from financial-data aggregators at this stage.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- Send you updates, newsletters, or marketing communications you have requested (you can opt out at any time — see Section 6);
- Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve our website;
- Protect the security and integrity of our website and detect or prevent fraud or misuse;
- Plan and develop our future products and services; and
- Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose information only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors that perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, analytics, email and customer-relationship management, and security — and that are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us;
- Legal and safety. Regulators, law enforcement, courts, or others where we believe disclosure is required by law or valid legal process, or is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property or that of others; and
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to customary protections.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through a cookie preference tool on our website. Where required by law, we honor browser-based opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

Type duration: Session.
Functional

Marketing communications
If you sign up to receive updates or marketing from us, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at the address in Section 13. We will not send you marketing text messages without your consent, and we comply with applicable laws governing commercial email and text messaging (including the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act). We may still send you non-promotional messages necessary to respond to your inquiry.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, applicable state privacy laws may give you rights over your personal information — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of certain processing. We honor these rights where they apply to us.
Note on financial-privacy laws: Because we are not yet a registered investment adviser and have no advisory customers, federal financial-privacy rules (the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and SEC Regulation S-P) do not yet govern the limited information we collect. For the same reason, the GLBA exemptions found in many state privacy laws do not come into play — the information we collect from website visitors and prospective contacts is treated as ordinary personal information under generally applicable law. Whether a particular state privacy law applies to us at this stage also depends on statutory thresholds (such as the number of consumers whose data we process), which a pre-launch company may not meet. We will reassess these obligations as our business grows and before we begin offering regulated services.
To exercise any right available to you, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your request as required and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights. Where permitted, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Data security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, appropriate to the limited, informational nature of our current website — including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No website or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. As we develop and launch regulated services, we will implement the enhanced security program required of registered investment advisers (see Section 11)
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or, where applicable, under the minimum age set by local law). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Where information is processed
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access our website from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
Looking ahead — what will change when we register
We intend to register as an investment adviser and begin offering advisory services in the future. Before we do, and as part of becoming a regulated financial institution, we expect to:
- Provide an initial and annual GLBA / Regulation S-P privacy notice to clients describing how we handle nonpublic personal information;
- Implement the safeguards, disposal, incident-response, and customer-notification programs required of registered advisers;
- Adopt the recordkeeping practices applicable to investment advisers; and
- Update this Policy (or publish a separate client privacy notice) to reflect the information we will then collect and the regulatory framework that will then apply.
Until that time, the financial-services regulatory regime described above does not govern our current, limited data processing, and statements in this Policy should be read in light of our pre-registration status.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on our website with a revised Effective Date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
